Bigum+Björge invite us on a visual journey that explores the deep connection between humanity and nature. Through their photographs, they meticulously capture ephemeral sculptures inspired by folklore traditions, where stories and myths are used to illuminate the mysteries of the unknown, honoring nature as the ultimate foundation of human imagination. Through their work, the duo investigates the paradox of beings who, although they do not physically exist, come to life in our imagination, literature, mythology, or dreams; and the moment something exists in our imagination, it acquires a form of reality.
