ATRAPAR AL MALO is a chronicle about the order of things and a reflection on the inconsistencies that inhabit us. An exhibition that suggests that the bad is inevitable and that we must identify it as such.
To catch the bad, the good must be killed. It’s about empowering what is not at the center, repositioning the central action and moving it out of the frame: the sought space, the space that this exhibition attempts to represent.
“My current painting and interventions reside between the question and the proposal through compositional games that reflect on the order of things and the concepts of periphery, territory, boundary, and frontier. They tell stories and fragments of my observations and experiences, of the multiplicity of layers that reside in what seems simple, and they do so through the use of everyday symbolic elements present in our culture.”
His art is rooted in urban critique. Sometimes, it aims to analyze, even propose perspectives on what is urban and generate alternate realities for those who observe it.
