Xavier Escala is a Catalan sculptor who studied sculpture at the Santa Isabel de Hungría Academy of Fine Arts, where he developed a solid technical and artistic foundation. He subsequently continued his training at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara and refined his marble sculpting skills at the Corsanini studio. He completed his training in direct wood carving under the guidance of sculptor Aron Demetz in Val Gardena.
In 2014, he embarked on an international artistic career that took him to countries such as Russia, Switzerland, Belgium, Ukraine, Egypt and Turkey. In 2017, he returned to his roots, settled in Catalonia and presented his solo exhibition Soliloquio in Vilafranca del Penedès.
