(Zaragoza, 1973)
Graduated in Illustration from the Pau Gargallo School of Art (1993) and later specialized in iron sculpture, engraving, and screen printing at the Escola Massana (1999). In 1994, he was an assistant to the artist Federic Amat and later to the sculptor Luis Cortés (2000-2002), working on special effects for film and advertising. He has exhibited his work in various cities across Spain, Norway, France, and Belgium, among others.
Aymar primarily works with sculpture, drawing, and photography. His works, a clear reflection of his great sensitivity and an unsettling poetic language, create a universe in which the artist navigates a world of dreams, decontextualizing figures and repositioning them to create “non-places” where he speaks of existence. He uses the human figure or the heart as main icons to address themes such as lying, existence, greed, and nature.
You can see his work exhibited at: «LA COLECTIVA» y «ARTE&VENTA [11]».
