Patrick Thomas

(Liverpool, 1965)

Graphic artist, illustrator, and teacher. After studying at Central Saint Martins School and The Royal College of Art, where he discovered screen printing and began working with it, he founded the studio laVista.

Thomas works within the field of graphic design, where he stands out for his ability to create powerful, iconic images with direct messages. His clear vision has led him to illustrate opinion pieces for The New York Times.

When he stopped accepting commissioned work, he focused on producing screen-printed editions of his own work. Interested in the democratization of art, Thomas believes that screen printing, as the gray area between editions and original pieces, is the correct way to achieve it.
