Painter, with a degree in Geological Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (2005), who later completed the Advanced Cycle in Applied Arts to Walls at the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny Llotja (2015). His work has been exhibited in various cities in Spain, as well as in Amsterdam, France, and London, among others.
He uses painting to reflect on the human condition and the passage of time. He prioritizes pictorial action over theorization to access the meaning and feeling of things from a simplified space.
His work, focused on form and line, navigates between figuration and abstraction, following an aesthetic minimalist approach. The use of large color blocks and monochromatic backgrounds reflects his approach to minimalism and his goal of stripping his pieces of any artifice. He uses painting as a form of self-exploration, where he discovers elements of himself while working on the canvases.
