(Barcelona, Spain, 1995)
After studying Illustration (2015), he completed a higher degree in Applied Arts to the Wall (2018), both at the LLotja School of Art and Design in Barcelona. He also undertook anatomical drawing studies at the Barcelona Academy of Art (2018).
He works with mixed techniques on medium and large formats and develops characters starting from figurative elements, transforming them into an antithesis to cult, perfection, and beauty. Accustomed to large formats, he presents a very distinctive stroke, with strength and presence, on any of his multiple supports. His color palette is varied, but always enveloped in a dark and unsettling atmosphere. His works are made with various recovered materials, supports, and techniques, all of which require specific presentation and installation, as he understands the exhibition space as another, no less important, way to access and present his paintings.
Vallverdú began his artistic career through mural painting in urban art collectives in Barcelona. His works have been exhibited in different cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Denmark, and Toulouse.
