(Olot, 1977)
Multidisciplinary artist specializing in illustration, printing, and textile volumetrics. Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (2017).
In her illustrations, Vogel explores grief and death, detaching them from religion; the relationship between beauty and the sinister; and everything that lies at the midpoint of opposing extremes. With a distinctive line and through a highly poetic imagery, the artist places the viewer in the realm of mixed feelings and involves them in a desire that is as hidden as it is primal.
Following this line of work, she specialized in textiles to create home pieces that represent the modernization of the traditional feminine trousseau. These highlight the emotional connection and symbolic weight of inherited objects, which serve as transmissible emotional vessels. Some of her works are part of the heritage collection of the University of Barcelona.
