A world full of paraphernalia.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Vallverd\u00fa uses painting to reflect on his surroundings and open a dialogue with his context, presenting stories and paradoxes. His characters fluctuate between a carnavalesque baroque and a formal refinement that reveals their pictorial essence, depicting contradictions and paradoxes that reflect our own experiences and the difficulty of discerning the essential from the accessory.<\/p>\n<p>Jan Vallverd\u00fa (Barcelona, 1995) studied Illustration and Applied Arts at La Llotja, and Drawing and Painting at the Academy of Barcelona. He also completed a residency in Aarhus, Denmark, with the project Inhibition.
