“Surviving Objects” are guerrilla figures that claim a space for themselves in a world that they have found changed after being rescued from oblivion.<\/p>\n
These figures, intervened through Marina Salazar’s pop imagination, take on new meanings through upcycling, adding value and giving them new functions. The surviving objects reveal their true nature, showing a new personality and releasing their essence before the viewer.<\/p>\n
Marina Salazar (Barcelona, 1990) holds a degree in Graphic Design from the BAU University Center, where she also completed a Master’s in Motion Graphics and 3D and another in Research and Experimentation in Design (2014).
