{"id":2887,"date":"2024-07-16T09:24:46","date_gmt":"2024-07-16T09:24:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laplataformabcn.com\/artist\/penique-productions\/"},"modified":"2026-07-07T10:50:30","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T10:50:30","slug":"penique-productions","status":"publish","type":"artists","link":"https:\/\/laplataformabcn.com\/en\/artist\/penique-productions\/","title":{"rendered":"Penique productions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Penique productions was founded in Barcelona in 2007 by Sergi Arbus\u00e0 as a project dedicated to the creation of inflatable and ephemeral installations in relation to architecture.<\/p>\n<p>Using monochromatic plastic balloons, they occupy a specific space, expanding the plastic to create custom pieces that give the space a new function, identity, light, texture, and sensory experience. The balloons define and make the intervened space visible, thereby constructing new environments.<\/p>\n<p>After each installation, Penique reuses the balloon material, turning it into one-square-meter colored canvases.
