From June 18th to 22nd, we participated in the 20th edition of VOLTA Basel, one of Europe’s most important contemporary art fairs, coinciding with Basel Art Week. For La Plataforma, it was an enriching experience and a key step toward greater international exposure.
We presented a carefully curated selection of works by five artists from our program: Ricard Aymar, Riccardo Nannini, Alexander Grahovsky, Stefanie Herr, and Eva Alonso.
Through different media—painting, sculpture, photography, and installation—each offered a unique perspective that resonated with diverse audiences.
Beyond showcasing our work, the fair allowed us to establish connections with collectors, curators, galleries, and industry professionals from around the world. VOLTA has left us with new connections, lessons learned, and the motivation to continue supporting our artists in an international context.
