“Interludis” by Maurici Ginés, a luminous exhibition that plays with perception through light, explores identity, equality, and difference using light in static elements.
Perception changes depending on the observer’s position. Each piece features a white background, a static element, and a luminous interference, symbolizing how individuals can transform their surroundings. Works with a single interference reflect individual identity, while pieces with paired interferences highlight the difference and common essence among people.
Maurici Ginés, a lighting designer, founder, and creative director of Artec Studio, is one of the pioneers of professional independent lighting design in Spain. He has also won several national and international awards.
