Sergio Mora was born in Barcelona in 1975, city where he stayed to imagine, experiment, create and live. Although he’s mainly known for his illustrations and paintings, he’s a multidisciplinary artist who also works with comic, sculpture, video and performance. He creates an imaginary world full of fantasy, colour and characters from another reality in every artwork. He is the greatest Spanish figure in pop surrealism, a style that combines pop culture with his signature iconography, elements of irony, play, tenderness, sex, seduction, and even monstrosity. Recently, he’s been awarded with the Grammy Latino for best packaging, for his cover of “El poeta Halley”, the latest CD by Love of Lesbian.
