Fran Romero (Granada, 1986), better known as Asis Percales, is a young artist born near Granada and established in Barcelona. He has developed his work through illustration, and his artworks look like visual poetry without apparent literal sense steeped with great visual power. Nonetheless, he combines sense of humour and irony with language, stereotypes, and pop culture iconography. Recently, he’s published a book called “Manual del Pintamonas”, and one of his artworks has been chosen as the cover of Map #11 of Poblenou Urban District.
